In today's world of chaos, turmoil, and destruction; only a restored respect for women can resue this world ouf of distress and take it out of its present predicament towards a new century of peace and love. A woman is needed in a leadership position to perform this task. Wherever the woman is disrespected, chaos exists in that location...

Oprah, Hillary, Mother Theresa, Benevair Bhutto, Indira Ghandi, Angelina Jolie, and many other women have indicated to us that the mother principle is what is needed in the world today. Women like these have shown the example of how much power a woman can wield to make changes to the world. The men have had their chance and have failed in bringing the world into an age of peace and tranquility. Instead the result has been war and destruction. In all those countries and culture where women are disrespected or abused; the people of that country or culture suffers and does not progress fruitfully. Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, and many more countries are those places where women are disrespected and stepped upon. These countries and communities have remained backward and non-progressive with other civilizations.

Here in this book, Swami Ram Charran has unfolded the relationship between disrespect for women and a progressive destruction that follows it. A historical view of the dishonoring of women has contributed to the destruction of countries, heads of state, kings, kingdoms, presidents, and politicians. Women such as Cleaopatra, Joan of Ark, Queen ISabella, Razia Sultan, and many more women have changed our history by destroying tyrants that would otherwise have destroyed the world.

Preface to the Book

Without a woman, how can there be birth? How can their be continuity of the universe, how can there be love? Without the woman, if there is no love there is no marriage. If there is no marriage, there can be no children. If there are no children, there can be no world. Subsequently, if there is no world there is no universe. If there is no universe there is no "GOD."

Do you see that without a woman there can be nothing; no creation or existence of the universe. Killing a woman is like killing a whole generation because it takes one woman to have enough children to fill up this whole world. Each woman can be considered to be a mother of the world. If all the women decide to have abortions there will be no world. Each time a child is born, the world and the universe reassembles itself to adapt to that change.

A woman can give birth to a child that could become the next Osama Bin Ladin or Einstein or President George Bush. If a child is born and he becomes a doctor, he will change or heal many lives thus creating enormous changes in the universe which are positive. If a child is born and he becomes a destructive force he'll create evil changes that will bring about the destruction of the universe. Since a child is born of a woman, the condition of the woman is what determines the future karma of that child.

One could argue that without the man, the woman cannot conceive and that importance should be attached equally to the man's position in the world. That may be so, but usually when a seed is planted, without proper nourishment it cannot grow and could grow improperly or deformed. It is the field or ground upon which the seed is sown that determines that outcome or fruitfulness of that seed. This was the very thing that Jesus Christ was referring to in "The Parable of the Seed Sewer." Christ really meant to say that if the sperm (seed) is planted on good ground (good woman) it will become prosperous and if on bad ground (bad woman) it will grow without any benefit to the world. If seeds were planted on the wayside (such as prostitutes) then they will never take growth.

As you can see, men can argue that they are equally as important but it is the woman that makes the world what it is. She is the one who nourishes the seed with her feelings, behavior, habits and her mind and body. Without a woman no person could be born on Earth, not even God can take form on Earth without coming through a woman. Immaculate or not, Jesus Christ was born from a woman, Mother Mary. Even Buddha, Mohammed, Lord Krishna or Lord Rama, and all the holy sages who came on Earth could not be born as humans without the help of a woman (Maya Devi).

Have you ever thought that without a woman almost everything around you such as the table, chair, wall, your home, your car, and your clothes, cannont exist without a person being born of a woman. The very existence of the world rests on the ability of the woman to give birth to great children. Christ said, in the bible, "suffer the little children to come unto me for they are but the kingdom of heaven." In that statement he clearly refers to the children as the future of the world.

India was once the richest country in the world because it worshipped and adored its women. In Vedic historical periods, India known in the past as the Indus Valley, had once spanned the whole of the Middle East. It was once considered one of the richest countries in the world before Columbus. There were more than two hundred kings, queens, castles, and palaces at that time. The women were considered goddesses and were adored, admired, and worshipped because of their beauty and their function as the foundation of all men. It was the fact that Columbus was looking for India when he discovered America and the West Indies. Columbus was looking for "El Dorado," a place where it was said that the streets were paved in gold. Today, in India, women are treated as dirt, they are molested, abused, and placed in a low position by men and society. The mother principle has been disrespected in this country and therefore India went downward in the last few centuries.

Today in countries such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and many other countries, women are regarded as low class citizens. Had it not been for Indira Ghandi, India would have been a communist country like China. Had it not been for Golda Meir, Israel would not have existed as it does today. Had it not been for Joan of Ark and many of the Queen rulers of Europe, France and England would have been defeated by the communist reds. There are many other examples, but as you can see every time the men brought the countries into chaos, the woman would come to the rescue. Have we forgotten that ruthless Julius Cesar was destroyed by Cleopatra? Have we forgotten that wicked kings in Europe were destroyed by the very women who were by their side as their queens? Every time, the men have failed us as leaders the women are there to rescue the world. Hence, the mother principle is the most powerful force in the universe.

Today, the world is suffering from wars and destruction because respect for women has been lost. Women themselves have carelessly allowed this to happen over the centuries, and they have lost their position in the world today because of their own mistakes in trying to become equal to men , instead of trying to become great mother's of the world. Women should stop fighting the men for equality and instead assume their position as the greater sex in importance than the men.

Chapter 1

Imagine a World without Women A story that shows that this reality could happen..

"Another girl?" he exclaimed angrily as the man raised his hands in hopelessness, storming out of the house. Teerana, his wife, had just given birth to her third child and like the other two, the third turned out to be female. She had prayed to fulfill the desire of her husband this time with the hope of giving birth to a boy child.
Rawana, Teerana's husband, wasted no time in threatening her that he would kill this child also. The first two female children were gently sent back to the heavens in a vat of fresh cow milk. Teerana now feared and knew that the fate of this third child was already doomed. The vat of milk was already being prepared as she lay there recovering from child birth.

"Please God! May you forgive my husband Rawana for his cruel actions against the females of this world? My God, why have you forsaken me?" cried Teerana as she clasped her hand in prayer, forgetting for a moment the intense labor pain she had just experienced for the last few hours. She thought of the goddess Durga, the mother of the universe, sitting at her alter. She had spent many months there begging the Goddess to give her a male child so that she can gain the favor of her husband. Now she has disappointed him once more again. She felt worthless and scared that she was not able to please her husband Rawana. She wished her husband could have been more religious in his ways and prayed for a son instead of killing each girl baby that had been born in the family within the last three years. Because of the dowry system established many years ago by the village elders where every father of a female must pay the father of the male to marry his daughter a sum of $10,000.00 and more, the respect for women has been decreasing. Since this degradation in respect, Rawana knew little that Nature's LAW OF KARMA states that "the very thing you hate, is the very thing that comes into your life," and that the Lord punishes an individual for carrying resentments and hatred in his or her mind. If Rawana could only learn to love that which he hates, Teerana thought, he would obtain his hearts desire. Her body trembled at the thought of what was about to happen to her new born baby. She shuttered in fear of what Rawana had threatened to do to her if she did not produce a male child.

"I am giving you one more chance, Teerana!" he shouted at her angrily. "I will destroy you if you cannot give me what I want. I refuse to pay any dowry to any man in this world. I would rather he pay me for my child. I want a son, and you better give it to me, or else!" passing his thumb across his neck in a cutting fashion, widening his eyes at her.

Teerana trembled and replied, "Forgive me my dear Rawana, I will pray more to the Goddess for your wish but please do not kill this girl, I want a daughter too....Please Rawana."

"No, Teerana, unless I get my son, I am not keeping any girl babies," He shouted back. Teerana burst into tears holding her head in her hands and shaking it from side to side.

"My God, my children are my life...why are the men so cruel, if only they had to go thru the pain of delivery, they would die...when is this going to end?" cried Teerana. All the ladies of the village present in the room comforted her, advising her to try one more time.
It seems it is never going to end. Teerana and Rawana were only one of the homes in many villages and towns of Nepal, India where this was happening every time a baby girl was born. Down the road, in another village close by, the Patel family is happily celebrating. Mrs. Patel had given birth to a boy. Half of the village people there were at their house congratulating them for their blessings from God and celebrating this birth of a boy. In this society, boys were considered to be an indication of high respect for the Father of the Home. At least in this house, no one had to prepare a half a drum of milk to drown a baby girl, but in many other houses the female babies were not so lucky.

A year had passed since the Patels celebrated their success of having a son. The village of Allman in Nepal, India has been progressing well in its goods, supplies, and labor force over the past two years. Both the Rawana family and the Patel family had been doing well in their material life. Rawana owns many cows, and Patel has many farms. It has also been a year since Teerana had given birth to the last female child who was drowned in a vat of milk ceremoniously. She is now almost 9 months pregnant again, and there is great hope that it will be a boy this time around.

Soon it was time for the delivery and the midwife arrived at the home. She went into the bedroom with Teerana to start her work. Rawana has been waiting patiently outside the room to hear the news. Pacing back and forth as he anxiously swayed his hands above his head and looks up above saying, "Please don't disappoint me now, God. I do not want to kill my wife."

Suddenly the door busted open, and a voice shouted, "It's a boy! It's a boy!" One of the village women came running out, stopping Rawana in his tracks and shaking his hands steadily.

"Congratulations" she said, "you have a boy child. God has answered your prayers." A smile came over Rawana's face and he dropped to the ground on his knees, expressing his gratitude and thanks to the heavens.

Suddenly, a shout came from inside the house. "Rawana, come quickly!" as the cries of the baby echoed in the atmosphere. Rawana got up quickly and rushed into the bedroom.

"What's wrong nurse?" he asked as he noticed the troubled look on her face.
"I'm afraid your wife's life is in danger. The afterbirth is affecting her. You must get the village doctor, Dr. Sahab, immediately. I do not think she can endure the pain for much longer. Hurry please!" said the nurse with anxiety.

Teerana was trembling on the bed as she called out, "Save me Rawana! I want to see our son grow and get married and have a family. I want to live to see my grandchildren. Please don't let me die!" she cried.

Tears filled the eyes of Rawana as he realized that he was going to lose the love of his life. Rawana took hold of her hands. Now the thought of having a boy child did not seem important anymore, as he realized that the most important person in his life was in danger.

"Don't worry my dear, I will get the Doctor and all will be okay...you must live to see your son" he replied hastily in an almost sad voice. He let go of her clinging hands and rushed out of the door to bring the doctor. Half an hour later as Dr. Sahab arrived, Teerana was lying in the same position as Rawana had left her. Her eyes were closed.

After spending a few minutes examining her, Dr. Sahab sadly turned to Rawana, who by this time was in tears.
"I am afraid I cannot be of much help my friend," he stated as he looked at Rawana. "Your wife has experienced a great loss of blood and because of her stress during her months of pregnancy, she has had high blood pressure during her delivery to the point that now she is about to lose her life.
"Please Dr. Sahab, do something. You must save her!" said Rawana.

"I'm afraid this is in God's hands now," replied Dr. Sahab. "You have put her through so much stress; she has lost three children already. She thought you were going to kill her, so it was very tense and stressful for her during the pregnancy. It had become overbearing for her health, and now God has decided to take her to a peaceful abode. May God forgive you, Rawana. Now there are no females left in your family. You can live now, happily, with your son and your brothers. I hope now you will learn the lessons of what it is like to live without a female in the home. You have brought this upon yourself," continued the doctor, "I hope God will forgive you"

Rawana broke down in tears, asking the doctor to pray for him because he didn't think God would forgive him. He moved to his wife's side. Teerana half opened her eyes slowly and looked at her husband. She whispered, "May God forgive this village and this country and all of you men for hating women." A soft scream came out of her mouth, "Oh Mother! Oh Mother! Forgive them please!" And with a jerk of her body, she looked at Rawana and then slowly closed her eyes with peace and her face slightly smiling like an angel."

Slamming his head on her chest, in loud cries, Rawana shouted, "I love you! I love you! Please come back," while holding on strongly to Teerana hands and body.

Many years had passed in the village of Allman, and many female babies had been killed in vats of milk, and now there had come a time when there were no women in the village. Rawana's son, Sham, has grown to the age of twenty and each day, Rawana prayed that he would find a suitable daughter-in-law for his son. Everyday he went to the temple to visit Panditji hoping that this village priest would give him some good news of a female somewhere who would marry his son. He was already having feelings of despair because after having visiting Panditji for two years, there was still no daughter-in-law yet for his son. As he sat on the front door of his home, looking at the sunset, his thoughts went back twenty years ago when he last saw his wife Teerana. He remembered the words of Dr. Sahab, "Your hatred for the female kind will be the curse and destruction of your family line. The name Rawana will be deleted completely out of this world. You family will cease to exist because your respect for the Goddess Mother's principle is not there."

Rawana prayed that his son would not become a homosexual like most of the men in the village had become over the last 10 years. Since there were no women in the several villages around, men had taken to having sex with the cows, goats, sheep and pigs. Many of the men of the villages were now demanding to have several types of animals as pets and some have been even caught at night in their neighbor's yards having sex with female lambs. The situation got especially worse after Mr. Rodman's weekly Friday night showing of American X-rated movies in his garage or barn. Most animals were found dead on Saturdays. Homosexuality had become a way of life in the villages around. Many men were caught in hidden corners masturbating by themselves, sometimes even in the middle of the day. Young boys were sometimes caught naked with their friends and playing with each other's genitals. Rawana himself had resorted to relieving himself by masturbation in the past years since Teerana died. He tried to find a second wife but was unable to do so.

Many of the older women had committed suicide because of being raped by other men in the villages when their husbands went to work. They killed themselves because a raped woman felt she lost her honor and respect, and therefore, her will to live. Widows were bribed with lots of money for sexual favors and men would line up at their doors on a daily basis. The Men did most of the cooking and older women were honored for their body no matter how they looked. The ugly women suddenly looked beautiful to the men and were allowed to have as many husbands as they choose. The world around Rawana was collapsing. He now realized that the disrespect for women in the villages had created a world of evil men and a path toward the end of the universe as he knew it. Surely there must be some hope for the world, he thought. Would the Lord really punish men so much? Are the men of mankind doomed forever?

One afternoon as he sat on his verandah looking hopelessly toward the sunset, he saw a tall figure walking toward his house. As it got closer he recognized it as Punditji, the local priest of the village, whom he had visited many times. He wondered and felt a skip of heartbeat as he realized what news Punditji may be bringing to him. I hope that he is bringing good news for my son Sham, thought Rawana. He got up and rushed out the front door to greet his guest.

"Namashkar, Punditji, "said Rawana, trying to control his excitement as he bowed to the Punditji's feet, "I am happy to see you. Come on in, lets have some tea together"

"Oh, Namashkar, and great blessings to you, Rawana bhai" replied Punditji as he touched the kneeling Rawana and raised him up in an embrace. Rawana led Punditji in the house and they both sat down as a young male servant named Buddan served them tea and biscuits.

"How are you these days Rawana," asked Punditji.
"You know how it is Punditji" replied Rawana, "Have you found a girl for my son Sham as yet... I am waiting anxiously for some news of this"

"Not as yet, Rawana, but I have come up with somewhat of a solution to our present predicament" answered Punditji." I am inviting you to the temple next Monday to participate in a very important ceremony that may help us to solve our problems affecting the shortage of women in this world."

"Sounds exciting, tell me more," said Rawana making himself more comfortable in his seat.
"Have you ever heard of the Goddess DURGA", asked Punditji.

"Yes, I remember faintly my wife Teerana mentioning such a name more than 20 years ago" replied Rawana. "She used to have a picture in the room and would light an incense every day in front of the picture. I had discarded the picture after she died. I did not think that a lady sitting on a tiger with more than eight hands meant anything to me. Besides I thought it was a demonic picture that scared myself and my son as I do not think women should have more than two hands. Whoever made that picture must have been evil in mind. I am sure it was a woman who drew that picture"

"Not at all so, Rawana," said Punditji, "You misunderstood the picture my dear friend, its not just an ordinary picture, as you think, and it was not an ordinary person who created that picture. It was a great Sage who developed that picture. It represents the true power of every woman in this world. It is the very image of womanhood that will rescue us from our present path of destruction. IT IS A PICTURE THAT SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS.
